Polynucleotides are a category of injectable skin treatment based on purified DNA fragments. The form most commonly used in aesthetic medicine is known as PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide), and the two terms are often used interchangeably. Unlike dermal fillers, polynucleotides do not add volume — their intended aim is to support skin quality and appearance.

After applying a topical numbing cream, the product is injected through a series of small injections across the treatment area. A session typically takes 20–30 minutes.
Number of Appointments
A course of 2–3 treatments, spaced 2–4 weeks apart, is commonly discussed at consultation. Some patients consider maintenance treatments thereafter. Your individual plan is agreed with Dr Raffner based on your skin and goals.
Downtime & Aftercare
Downtime is minimal. Mild redness, swelling or small marks at the injection points may be visible for 24–48 hours. Most patients return to normal activities the same day. Detailed aftercare advice is provided after treatment.
